Cricket took second place. This was the sixth annual game to remember Neil Foster who tragically died so young. The popular Fozzie played for both Farnham Royal and Datchet. That so many friends turn up every year for this game as a fitting tribute to him.

Datchet have a long connection with Incogniti and this a traditional game and
one of our oldest fixtures.
Datchet chased a good total. Always in range but mostly second favorites.
Fahad Raja of Slough Cricket Club scored a fine hundred. He found a useful
partner in fourth teamer Mike Harowell (32*) in an unbeaten winning partnership
of 82.
Datchet 180 all out Highway 181 - 4. Lost by 6 wickets.
Datchet had opening bowler Nick Kenny to thank for a respectable score.
Nick opened the batting and scored his frst half century for about 15 years.
This was not enough and the visitors won in good style.
This is the second visit by this side from Coventry who seem to be enjoying
their stay.

Dave Boss won the coveted Datchet Claret Jug on handicap at Datchet Golf Club on Wednesday.

Datchet 220 Sean Furness' XI 222 - 4. Lost by 6 wickets.
A weak Datchet XI did well to reach 220.
In reply Windsor were slow early on but rapidly picked up the rate to win
with time to spare.
Thomas Jones' XI 315 (40 overs) Datchet 240 all out (40 overs) Lost by 75 runs.
Thomas brought a very strong XI to take on a Datchet side lead by his father.
Leading from the front Thomas scored a rapid 50 as did several other members
of his side
Datchet found it hard going against defensive fields, losing both both openers
(Mark and Luke Shepherd) in the first two overs. They picked up later on but never
looked in danger of winning.
Datchet lost the cricket but won the stump game. Here Arun shows fine technique.
