Datchet 74 - 5 (19.2 overs) Wokingham 2nd XI 75 - 0 (16.4 overs) Won by 3 wickets. Datchet 0 points Wokingham 20 points.
Datchet's desparate plan to snatch the league backfired and
they missed out on second place.
Needing only 3 points to be safe Wokingham were only 1 wicket away from the
Championship when Skipper Mark Shepherd declared.
Only by bowling Wokingham out could Datchet snatch the division.
It was not to be and the home side won by 10 wickets to be crowned worthy champions.
Under Mark Datchet have improved this year and hopefully will have another crack
at promotion in 2008.

Reading 4th XI (51.3 overs) 181 Datchet 183 - 7 (32.2 overs) Won by 3 Wickets. Datchet 20 points Reading 11 point.
Reading started well and at 100 - 1 looked like making a big score.
However, 4 wickets from Andy Jackson backed up by 3 wickets from Pervez Mir cut
though a long youthful tail.
Fifties from Thomas Jones and Mir saw Datchet on the way
Datchet finish up in fifth place and Arun can be pleased with an improver
performance and an enjoyable season.
Pervez Mir cover drives during his 51 on Saturday.

Datchet 3rd XI 153 (43.4 overs) Burnham 3rd XI 154 - 2 (23.2 overs) Lost by 8 wickets. Datchet 7 points Burnham 20 points.
After such a good season it was a pity that poor availability
led to a dismal defeat in the last game of the season.
Burnham, already champions bowled Datchet out cheaply then knocked off the runs
with no trouble.
Marlow Park beat Eversley to take second place leaving Datchet 3rd.
A very good season for Mark Bellman's team.
