“First Eleven”

Datchet 211 all out (50 overs) Beaconsfield 2nd XI 166 all out (44.3 overs) Won by 45 runs. Datchet 25 points Beaconsfield 8 points.

A good win for datchet against a side that usually beat us. After an opening stand of 114 between skipper Nick Tilley (61)and Sean Furness (51) Datchet collapsed to 211 all out.
However, fine spin bowling by James Dick (5 - 77) and Tim Alldis (4 - 44)
Datchet go into next weeks final game against Finchampstead in third place but well behind promotion candidates Maidenhead & Bray and Marlow.
We wish both these sides good luck next week. Both would be worthy members of division 1.

“Second Eleven”

Caversham and Redingensians 280 - 7 (52 overs) Datchet 2nd XI 138 all out (34.3 Overs) Lost by 142 runs. Datchet 6 points Caversham and Redingensians 25 points

Datchet lost badly against fellow relegation candidates Redingensians.
Bowling first the home side bowled and fielded badly leaving themselves a very difficult target.
The chase started well with Teunis Jackson (51) and Luke Shepherd striking the ball to all parts. However, after Teunis played on and Luke had to retire ill the batting crumbled.
Datchet who drop to last place held a long meeting after the game but need a win next week and hope for some good results to avoid the drop. A 25 point win would keep us up IFCaversham get less that 10 points AND Chiswick get less than 15 points.
See table.

“Third Eleven”

Datchet 202 all out (48.4 overs) Harefield 3rd XI 203 - 2 (37.4 overs) Lost 8 wickets. Datchet 11 points Harefield 20 points.

Despite a fighting 44 from Nick White, Datchet were all out for 202 which proved well short on a good Windsor wicket.
League leaders Harefield won the game with 14 overs and 8 wickets to spare.
