Doug originally hails from Zimbabwe (Rhodesia as it’s still known in Windsor I believe) and it is suspected he is the unofficial love child of Robert Mugabe and David Hasselhoff.

His main hobby is Accountancy and often you will find him returning home at midnight, wide-eyed and excitable, ready to regale his new wife with exciting stories about the progress of the day's debits and credits. Clearly the stories are too overwhelming for her as she passes out each time from the excitement.

As a young boy Doug looked for inspiration from his 1970's 'Da Bomb' hairstyle when developing his batting technique. He clearly looked no further than the 1970s Yorkshire cricket captain and recently he has been pursuing a surname change from McDermott to McBoycott to complete the circle.

Doug is often the pin that holds the lower order grenade from exploding and has enjoyed some success by varying his pace and flight with his bowling. His main dream now while playing at DCC is to one day hold a catch off his handsome and intelligent South African friend's bowling.
